Law-enforcement agencies of Azerbaijan sent 30 reports to the General Prosecutor Office’s Department to Combat Corruption in 2011, Chief of Azerbaijan General Prosecutor Office’s Department to Combat Corruption Kamran Aliyev said at the press conference..
According to him 9 complaints were received from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 9- from the Ministry of Justice, 1- Judicial Council, 1- from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 1- from the State Migration Service, 4- from the Ministry of National Security and 5- from law-enforcement agencies. On the basis of these reports, criminal proceeding has been launched according to 25 reports, 15 of them were sent to the court, 5 criminal cases were passed sentence and 10 cases are being examined by court. The preliminary investigation is being continued on 10 criminal cases.
