Fund of Struggle Against Corruption Azerbaijan
Fund of Struggle against Corruption was established on February 1 2004. It was set up to arouse public opinion to carry out resolute struggle against corruption, provide close participation of the public in this struggle and eliminate the problems, impeding moral and juridical education of people and development of society. The Fund of Struggle against Corruption bases on creative potential of our nation and accepts faithfulness and frankness as a way of struggle to reach the assumed aims, and reveal real corruption state in Azerbaijan society. The Fund aims at not concealing the existing state and not exaggerating lie. The Fund of Struggle against Corruption aims at reducing the corruption level with support and efforts of independent person, and decent citizens of the democratic state, along with activation of anticorruption mechanisms and resources.
20 Italian football teams suspected of corruption More than 20 Italian football teams have been informed that they are under investigation as part of an inquiry into match-fixing. The Italian football federation said 61 people, including 52 active players, will also have to answer questions over the allegations. More than 30 arrests have been made in investigations into match-fixing over the past year in Italy.

Struggle against corruption starts off in the regions of Azerbaijan Fund of Struggle against Corruption is starting the realization of a new project. Vasif Movsumov, executive director of the Fund informed about it. The aim of the projest is to define the changes in the direction of struggle against corruption after Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev's advice and instructions in this sphere. 5000 people will be surveyed within the frames of the project and the results will be available for the public.

Kosovo corruption "fighter" arrested The Chief Prosecutor of the Kosovo anti-corruption agency Nazmi Mustafi has been arrested on suspicion of corruption. A warrant for his arrest was issued by the Prosecutor’s Office of the European Union’s Rule of Law Mission.
According to the Kosovo newspaper "Zeri," Mustafa is suspected of extorting bribes in a case that his agency is investigating. In exchange for bribes the corruption “fighter” promised to stop the investigation.

Judges held in Italy Naples mafia swoop Italian police have arrested 16 judges in what they say is a big anti-mafia operation centred on Naples.
They are alleged to have taken bribes to issue financial rulings in favour of the Camorra, the crime syndicate active around the southern city.
The police said the focus of the operation was the Fabroccino clan, which is believed to have bribed officials to obtain favourable court judgements.
