Russian Federation Ministry of Justice proposes to pay rewards for signals about corruption. The new project offers a certain percentage of the amount repaid to the budget. The idea is recorded in the jointly new concept of state authorities and civil society on the fight against corruption. In the coming days, the document will be sent to the Council under the President of Russia on combatting corruption. Corrupt officials instead of being arrested may be given large fines.
According to the authors of the document, rewarding will actively encourage citizens to bring the truth to the competent authorities.
